Sales Revenue Analyst

The Sales Revenue Analyst supports global sales commissions, revenue recognition, deal-close analysis, reporting infrastructure, and sales compensation strategy. The role requires 2–4 years of relevant analytical or operations experience, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with SaaS business models.

Responsibilities

  • Own, refine, and optimize monthly commission strategies across diverse verticals and go-to-market teams.
  • Lead cross-functional solutions to scale Sales Revenue operations efficiently.
  • Analyze the business impact of incentive-based compensation plans and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze the deal-close process, reviewing deal structures, financial terms, and product pricing.
  • Establish and maintain reporting infrastructure for quota allocation, compensation plans, coverage, territory management, and performance monitoring.
  • Partner with Strategy and Growth teams to develop scalable sales compensation structures and initiatives.
  • Build technical and functional expertise in Salesforce and related SaaS systems.
  • Partner with senior leadership to evaluate, design, and operationalize sales strategy programs.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and process improvement for product usage, revenue, and CRM dashboards.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in revenue, sales operations, FP&A, business analysis, or consulting roles.
  • Advanced Excel skills for managing and analyzing large datasets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish trust, credibility, and influence across diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models, recurring revenue, and subscription businesses.
  • Strategic thinking, analytical ability, and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills across functions and organizational levels.
  • Proven project ownership and delivery experience with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with compensation and business automation tools.
  • Experience at a high-growth SaaS company or multinational public company.
  • Familiarity with SaaS economics, deal structuring, and revenue models.
  • Experience with macOS.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Google Sheets, and Jira.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Metabase, or other business intelligence systems.
  • Advanced analytics experience for forecasts or modeling.
  • Client-facing or C-suite experience.
