Responsibilities

  • Provide expert IT recommendations across enterprise hardware, infrastructure, and IT solutions.
  • Deliver a premium, white-glove customer experience through written chat interactions.
  • Understand customer challenges and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  • Build customer loyalty through memorable interactions and successful outcomes.
  • Represent CDW’s product portfolio and navigate product comparisons.
  • Use consultative communication to uncover needs and guide customers toward informed purchasing decisions.
  • Manage multiple concurrent conversations with professionalism and accuracy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT industry experience; large-scale corporate, healthcare, or institutional IT experience is highly beneficial.
  • Deep familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Familiarity with major hardware and technology brands, including Dell, HP, Cisco, and Apple.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to convey warmth and technical expertise.
  • Desktop or laptop computer; mobile devices and tablets are not supported.
  • Stable high-speed internet connection of at least 10 Mbps.
  • Reliable audio capability.

Compensation

  • $18–$22 per hour.
  • 1099 independent contractor engagement with weekly payouts.
  • Performance-based incentive rewards.
