Responsibilities
- Own dealer implementations end-to-end, from kickoff through go-live and early hypercare.
- Configure solutions for dealership workflows and technology stacks through structured discovery and engineering collaboration.
- Validate customer, availability, recall, and repair-order data flows across systems before go-live.
- Train non-technical dealership staff and manage change through adoption.
- Manage implementation timelines, stakeholders, and go-live dates.
- Troubleshoot live issues by reproducing problems, reading logs, and distinguishing configuration issues from product bugs.
- Escalate issues cleanly to engineering with clear reproduction steps.
- Create runbooks and SOPs for repeatable implementations and support handoff.
- Share field feedback with product teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on integration and configuration experience using APIs, webhooks, or configuration tools.
- Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing logs, and isolating configuration issues from product bugs.
- Customer training or enablement experience, ideally with non-technical audiences.
- Implementation project-management experience from kickoff through go-live.
- Experience validating and verifying data across systems.
- Ownership, adaptability, resourcefulness, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to travel 50–70% to client dealerships and work in the office a few days per month.
Nice-to-haves
- Customer discovery and workflow-mapping experience.
- Issue triage and escalation experience in a customer-facing technical role.
- Light scripting or SQL experience.
- Experience writing runbooks, SOPs, or setup documentation.
- Familiarity with SaaS implementation and deployment methodologies.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and integration patterns.
- Automotive retail or fixed-operations experience.
- Familiarity with dealership systems such as CDK, Reynolds, Tekion, Xtime, or myKaarma.
- Knowledge of data structures and validation, support escalation processes, change management, security, PII handling, or call-recording consent.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary of $80,000–$110,00 plus commission on renewals and expansion revenue; OTE of $150,000.
