Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a team of highly driven Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
- Build a winning sales development strategy and set weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
- Build and consistently iterate on outbound sequences in Outreach.
- Hire and develop a team against a staffing roadmap, and inspire individuals to overachieve.
- Coach team members, hold them to high standards, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Establish and track goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and resolve process bottlenecks, data issues, and inconsistencies.
- Scale processes, technology, and the team to support pipeline growth.
- Track project success using relevant KPIs and monitor system improvements.
- Lead by example, including demonstrating effective outbound calling techniques.
- Collaborate across the organization and provide proactive feedback.
- Travel approximately 5–10% between sales opportunities across the United States and Canada.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales development management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- Proven experience growing high-performing SDR teams.
- Experience hiring, coaching, and managing outbound account development professionals.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to prioritize improvements.
- Familiarity with sales automation and prospecting tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and a self-starter mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Results-oriented approach and ability to lead and drive process change.
