Engineering Manager

Responsibilities
- Build and manage a growing team of engineers in Europe.
- Focus on individual performance, process, and culture rather than running sprint planning or making product and technical decisions.
- Develop engineers so they can own and deliver large, loosely defined projects with minimal intervention.
- Provide feedback on product and technical specifications, helping engineers cut scope or improve quality.
- Coach engineers toward strong decisions while empowering them to retain ownership.
- Debug customer issues, ship small bug fixes, and improve developer experience.
- Improve data generation and simulation for demo accounts.
- Identify team patterns, improve operating practices, and build automation to support them.
- Recruit and grow exceptional engineers.
- Give difficult feedback, maintain high standards, and build systems that help engineers succeed.
- Facilitate individual and organizational change through empathetic communication.
Requirements
- Passion for both engineering management and hands-on technical work.
- Ability to hold in-depth technical conversations across infrastructure, backend, and frontend engineering.

Compensation
- Salary: £110,000–£200,000 per year.
