Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Itemized Bill Review (IBR) team, including production expectations, service-level agreements (SLAs), client communication, and team performance.
  • Analyze internal business requirements and processes through document and workflow analysis.
  • Evaluate functionality across multiple programs to ensure efficient and accurate reviews.
  • Gather requirements and partner with development to resolve process-related issues.
  • Manage team assignments and collaborate across departments to meet internal and external SLAs.
  • Delegate tasks and oversee special projects involving the team.
  • Coordinate system enhancements, including Jira ticket creation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment.
  • Monitor and trend team performance metrics to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
  • Identify team-member needs and escalate issues requiring IT support.
  • Develop and coordinate training materials, quality-assurance processes, and dispute-response workflows.
  • Communicate organizational and client policy changes to the team.
  • Identify and implement additional client savings through review and research.
  • Liaise between Operations and Client Success to resolve client issues.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new team members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience performing itemized-bill audits.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Experience with healthcare industry software products and process development.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a team environment.
  • Broad knowledge of audit standards, policies, regulations, and medical chart reviews.
  • Strong project-management, analytical, interpersonal, communication, prioritization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing high-performing, dynamic teams and processes.
  • Ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Teams and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with various software applications and engaging development teams.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $105,000–$125,000 USD.
