Solutions Architect
The Solutions Architect partners with customers and Account Executives to design and demonstrate complex big data solutions, guide Databricks adoption, and communicate technical and business value. The role requires coding experience in Python, Java, or Scala, cloud expertise, and customer-facing architecture experience.

Responsibilities
- Build successful relationships with clients throughout the assigned territory, providing technical and business value to Databricks customers in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Act as an expert in big data analytics, advising customers on architecture, design, and implementation to support adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Scale best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications.
- Build the Databricks community in the region by leading workshops, seminars, and meetups.
- Develop technical and/or industry specialization.
Requirements
- Engage customers in technical sales, challenge their questions, guide clear outcomes, and communicate technical and value propositions.
- Develop customer relationships and internal partnerships with Account Executives and other teams.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, with willingness to learn Apache Spark.
- Proficiency with big data analytics technologies, including hands-on experience delivering complex proofs of concept and working with public cloud platforms.
- Experience discovering and scoping use cases and delivering complex solution architecture designs to audiences with varying levels of technical depth.
