Responsibilities
Lead the entire sales process from lead generation to close for building materials retailers
Conduct primarily outbound sales through a combination of inside and outside sales strategies
Spend ~50% of time in-person in the Chicago office collaborating with team members
Spend ~50% traveling throughout assigned territory to meet customers in-person
Build strong relationships with customers from first conversation through close
Carry a quota and close deals
Requirements
Live in the Chicago / Chicagoland area
Valid U.S. driver's license
Energized by frequent travel (~50%) across assigned states
Excited to close deals and carry a quota
Love building strong relationships with customers
Nice-to-Haves
Successfully closed new business deals in the $15K–$20K ARR range, especially at Series A startups
Experience hunting and closing net-new business in a field sales role
Familiarity with the building materials or construction supply industry (ideally retail)
Experience selling a product that is new to the market or required process change for the customer

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $92,000 annually
Commission: $100,000 annually (based on performance)
OTE: $192,000 annually (uncapped)
Equity: $54,794 initial grant value, vesting over 4 years
