Sales Account Manager
Manages enterprise customer accounts, builds long-term relationships, closes and expands business, and coordinates solution delivery. Requires at least three years of technology sales experience, enterprise account management success, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and cybersecurity knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for customer account management matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Develop trusted-advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas for improvement to meet sales quotas.
- Forecast and track key account metrics, including quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
- Prepare reports on account status.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of successful experience selling technology products and solutions to businesses.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated success managing enterprise accounts.
- Experience with structured retention cycles and developing and executing tailored account-retention plans.
- Passion for learning about clients' security positions, needs, and strategies.
- Leadership ability and a hands-on mentality to support others and drive success across the sales organization.
- Active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate with technology-oriented professionals and senior business executives at the C level.
- Ability to articulate the technical and business value of products.
- Ability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and achieve results with minimal oversight.
- Ability to maintain an accurate pipeline and updated forecast.
- Fundamental understanding of security threats, solutions, and security tools.
- Highly competitive, adaptable, and committed to exceeding sales goals.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to assigned accounts and company meetings.
