Account Engineer
The Account Engineer partners with new and early-stage customers in Colombia to accelerate Snowflake implementation, adoption, and expansion. The role combines hands-on SQL and cloud data architecture expertise with technical advising, troubleshooting, enablement, and cross-functional customer delivery.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of new and early-stage customers, accelerating time-to-value and sustained platform growth.
- Own technical success and consumption trajectories, serving as the primary technical contact for assigned accounts.
- Apply outcome-based selling to solve complex data challenges and maximize business value.
- Advise customers on data strategy, technology-stack integration, and activation of initial use cases.
- Use AI-powered development tools and automation to accelerate solutions and implementation guidance.
- Provide guidance on Snowflake architectural best practices, workload isolation, warehouse utilization, resource monitoring and alerts, budgeting, and RBAC/security setup.
- Collaborate with account teams, Professional Services, Support, Product Management, Engineering, and external partners.
- Create and deliver reusable programs, including hands-on labs and webinars.
- Share field feedback to influence product development.
- Triage customer inquiries, assist with demos and troubleshooting, and identify potential expansion opportunities.
Requirements
- Fluency in English.
- Ability and willingness to travel to the United States for onboarding and training when needed.
- Hands-on SQL experience.
- Foundational knowledge of data architecture, data analytics, and major cloud platforms.
- Strong desire to develop technical expertise in the Snowflake platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive customers toward agreed timelines.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical technical experience.
Nice-to-haves
- SnowPro certification.
- Python, Java, or Scala, particularly for data or application development.
- Experience with CI/CD and orchestration tools.
- Understanding of data science concepts.
- Experience or interest in AI-powered development tools and coding agents.
