Deployment Engineer

Deploy and operationalize the Armis cybersecurity platform across customer environments, including collectors, configurations, integrations, documentation, and technical training. The role requires substantial deployment or professional services experience, enterprise networking expertise, cybersecurity familiarity, and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and development teams during customer onboarding.
  • Accelerate deployment of the Armis platform while ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Create and execute deployment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Configure platform reporting, dashboards, policies, and overall system settings.
  • Provide expert support, analysis, and research for complex cybersecurity infrastructure deployment issues.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine collector placement and setup.
  • Plan and execute onsite and remote deployment of Armis collectors at client locations.
  • Ensure deployments and configurations align with business use cases and implementation plans.
  • Conduct system assessments and compatibility checks for integration with existing infrastructures.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support during deployment.
  • Create deployment documentation, configuration guides, troubleshooting manuals, and user guides.
  • Train clients' technical staff on integrated system operation and maintenance.
  • Travel to client sites as needed, up to 60%.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-time experience as a Deployment Engineer, Professional Services Engineer, Consultant, or IT/Operations Engineer preferred.
  • 5+ years of combined experience designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and coordinating Unified Communications products, devices, solutions, and technologies for businesses of varying sizes.
  • 3+ years of experience in Security, IT, Healthcare, ICT, or Commercial sectors.
  • Experience analyzing, using, and configuring medium-to-enterprise networks.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven environment and mentor other team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deployment projects simultaneously.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, IS, CS, or MIS, or an equivalent degree, preferred.
  • Relevant industry qualifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are desired.

Technical Skills

  • Cybersecurity technologies, including endpoint security, SOAR, and SIEM.
  • Basic Linux operating system operation and troubleshooting, including Red Hat Linux and CentOS.
  • Networking, including LAN/WAN, routing and switching protocols, and network security.
