Senior Technical Account Manager - East
Provides strategic customers with technical architecture guidance, hands-on implementation support, troubleshooting, and platform optimization for Dataiku deployments. The role requires 7+ years in customer-facing technical work and expertise across Linux, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, authentication systems, and data-processing ecosystems.

Responsibilities
- Work with the Customer Success team and customers to identify near- and long-term priorities and define engagement plans.
- Manage milestones with the Customer Success Manager and customers; contribute to deliverables, provide regular status updates, and proactively identify and mitigate issues and risks.
- Centralize technical information about clients and contribute to account strategy with other account-team members.
- Contribute to the growth and scalability of the Field Engineering team through documentation, process optimization, and peer upskilling.
- Serve as a primary technical advisor to customers, providing guidance and hands-on support for:
- Dataiku platform architecture, including initial deployment and expansions
- Platform operations and upgrades
- Dataiku usage best practices
- Security and data management
- Compute resources
- MLOps and monitoring
- Troubleshoot product implementations within customer systems.
- Record feature requests and communicate them effectively to Product and R&D.
- Advise client technology leaders on companion technologies and technology strategies around Dataiku.
- Support innovative Dataiku approaches, including edge computing, deep learning, and advanced MLOps.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
- Comfort and confidence in client-facing interactions.
- Ability to work both pre-sale and post-sale.
- Strong Linux system administration experience, including networking.
- Experience with authentication and authorization systems such as LDAP, Kerberos, Active Directory, and IAM.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with the Kubernetes ecosystem, including setup, administration, troubleshooting, and tuning.
- Experience with the Hadoop and/or Spark ecosystem, including setup, administration, troubleshooting, and tuning.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Python.
- Knowledge of Java.
- Knowledge of MLOps.
Compensation and Benefits
- National U.S. base pay range: $150,000–$200,000 USD.
- Eligible roles may receive commission or other variable compensation through the incentive compensation program.
