About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build new pipeline and drive revenue within assigned territory
  • Understand customers' business challenges and position Hex as the solution
  • Partner with Sales Engineering to run discovery and demos
  • Manage the sales-cycle including lead generation, qualification, and closing deals while meeting/exceeding sales goals
  • Provide input to engineering, product management, and marketing
  • Create and deliver accurate forecasts

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in full cycle SaaS sales role with track record of achieving targets in lead-generation for technical software in data, DS/ML, or analytics space
  • Ability to teach complex technical concepts
  • Confident speaking about challenges data practitioners face
  • Passionate/curious about data & analytics space
  • Capable of managing large pipeline of high-velocity opportunities
  • Willing to learn basic SQL
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Love giving and receiving feedback

Compensation

  • On-target-earnings (OTE): $180,000
