The short version.

How do you store our API key?+

Encrypted at rest with a key we rotate independently of yours. We only ever decrypt it server-side to call Greenhouse; the key never reaches the browser, and we don't surface it in any UI - even to you. To rotate, paste a new key in the dashboard and we replace the encrypted copy in one transaction.

What happens if our key rotates or expires?+

We re-validate against Greenhouse on a schedule and the moment we get a 401. If a key is bad, Quick apply on your roles automatically falls back to the external "Apply" button while we email your admin to update credentials. No silent failures.

How is source attribution handled?+

Every application Hotfix Jobs submits to Greenhouse carries the tracking token you configured at connect time. Your existing Greenhouse reporting picks it up with no changes - same dashboards, same dimensions.

Can we disconnect later?+

Anytime. Disconnecting flips Quick apply off for your roles immediately and removes our stored credentials. Existing applications already submitted to your ATS are unaffected.
