Sales Representative I, SB

The Small Business Sales Representative owns customer acquisition and the full sales cycle, helping prospects sign up and successfully begin using Dialpad. The role requires at least one year of direct SaaS sales experience, fluent English, strong communication skills, and hybrid availability during US core hours.

Responsibilities

  • Own new-logo acquisition, lead-to-opportunity conversion, opportunity-to-sale conversion, and team revenue targets.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for sales lines, live chat, and marketing leads, primarily speaking with customers in North America and occasionally worldwide.
  • Listen to customer needs, understand their challenges, and connect them to Dialpad’s solutions.
  • Help prospective customers sign up, complete initial setup, and start successfully.
  • Partner with Billing, Support, Marketing, and other sales teams to improve the customer experience.
  • Research product changes and identify benefits for customers.
  • Manage a full sales cycle from initial interest through closed-won deals.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of direct sales experience, preferably selling Software as a Service (SaaS) in communications, UCaaS, or CCaaS.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Business Administration preferred but not required.
  • Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, energy, willingness to learn, and strong digital communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly through visual and verbal channels during remote interactions.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup and during US core hours, 6 am–5 pm Pacific Time.
  • Ability to work 100% on-camera in a dedicated, technically enabled remote workspace.
  • Excellent internet connectivity.
