About the role

What you'll do

  • Own a new vertical end-to-end: define and size the market, drive the features to completion, and launch the GTM motion to tackle it
  • Talk to operators in person: spend time in stores to understand what matters to them
  • Build the roadmap: translate field research into a concrete, sequenced feature plan with engineering
  • Land the first pilots: find and close 5+ pilot clients in your industry to prove the market
  • Define the GTM strategy: identify the channels, partners, and events that matter

Requirements

  • 2+ years in consulting, banking, or an equivalent field that has helped you develop strong communication and prioritization skills
  • Based in the SF Bay Area and comfortable working from our office 4 days per week
  • Excited to get out there because all the good learning happens from being with the customer
  • Excellent communication able to synthesize messy field research into clear, defensible roadmaps
  • Working through rejection because many prospects will say no
  • Curiosity about overlooked, traditional industries

Bonus

  • Familiarity with building materials, construction supply, or other hardline industries
  • Experience with vertical SaaS
  • A track record of cold outreach producing real outcomes (interviews, deals, partnerships)
