Product Manager, New Industries
Own research, product planning, and go-to-market execution for new industry verticals, from defining the ideal customer profile through launching initial pilots. The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, strong synthesis and prioritization skills, and frequent in-person customer engagement in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsibilities
- Own a new vertical end-to-end: define and size the market, drive features to completion, and launch the go-to-market motion.
- Talk to operators in person and spend time in stores to understand customer needs.
- Build a roadmap by translating field research into a concrete, sequenced feature plan with engineering.
- Find and close 5+ pilot clients to prove the market.
- Define the go-to-market strategy, including relevant channels, partners, and events.
Requirements
- 2+ years in consulting, banking, or an equivalent field that develops strong communication and prioritization skills.
- Based in the SF Bay Area and comfortable working from the office 4 days per week.
- Willing to spend substantial time with customers in person.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to synthesize messy field research into clear, defensible roadmaps.
- Resilience when working through rejection.
- Curiosity about overlooked, traditional industries.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with building materials, construction supply, or other hardline industries.
- Experience building vertical SaaS.
- A track record of cold outreach producing real outcomes, such as interviews, deals, or partnerships.
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: $193K–$210K.
- Equity package: $156K–$167K.
