About the job

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap, strategy, and success metrics for portions of the inference and platform product across API, UI, and CLI.
  • Work directly with AI-native startups and enterprises running production inference; observe workflows, unblock customers, and turn recurring pain points into product capabilities.
  • Own commercial and trust surfaces, including accounts, onboarding, quotas, rate limits, billing, and fraud and abuse prevention.
  • Partner with product marketing, sales, and field teams to launch platform capabilities, including pricing and packaging, documentation, cookbooks, and enablement.

Requirements

  • 2–8+ years of product management experience building technical or developer-facing products.
  • Strong technical background through a CS/EE degree, production engineering experience, or equivalent expertise.
  • Familiarity with the inference lifecycle, including model serving, latency and throughput tradeoffs, and production cost implications.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a product area, from strategy and specifications through launch and metrics.
  • Excellent written communication for specifications, launch posts, and customer-facing explanations.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward shipping and learning.
  • High motivation and willingness to step up during demanding periods.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building on an LLM API and understanding latency, cost, and reliability tradeoffs firsthand.
  • Experience with self-serve or product-led growth products, signup and onboarding funnels, usage-based billing, quotas, and rate limits.
  • Experience with trust and safety, fraud, or abuse prevention at scale.
  • Understanding of GPU economics, including utilization, batching, latency SLAs, and margin tradeoffs.
  • Experience with cloud or developer platforms with metered pricing.
  • Experience with account, identity, and organization-management surfaces for enterprises.
  • Early-stage startup or founding experience.

Benefits

  • Work on challenging AI infrastructure problems, including low-latency inference and scalable model serving.
  • Build technology shaping how businesses and developers use AI.
  • High ownership and direct impact in a fast-growing environment.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and AI researchers.
