Responsibilities
- Own product problems end-to-end, from customer discovery and data analysis through specifications, launch, and iteration.
- Build feedback loops with developers, engineering leaders, and enterprise customers.
- Understand frontier AI model capabilities and design products for emerging use cases.
- Prototype ideas with AI tools before committing engineering resources.
- Ship quickly, define success metrics, and measure adoption and retention.
- Partner with engineering, design, sales, and marketing.
- Frame ambiguous problems, propose solutions, and rally teams around a direction.
- For senior candidates, define product strategy, mentor PMs, and help build the product organization.
Requirements
- Strong product judgment based on customer conversations, usage data, and product experience.
- Track record of shipping products, features, or prototypes adopted by real users.
- AI-native approach to prototyping, analysis, and writing, with informed opinions about AI limitations.
- Technical fluency sufficient to collaborate deeply with engineers, read pull requests, and understand model behavior.
- Clear written and verbal communication and ability to influence without authority.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, emerging AI product spaces.
- Experience building products for developers or other technical users, as a product manager, founder, engineer, or equivalent.
- Evidence of ownership beyond formal job responsibilities.
- Senior candidates should have experience with product scaling, outcome ownership, or building and leading product teams.
