Technical Enablement Director

Leads technical enablement and training programs to drive Sentry platform adoption for customers, partners, and employees. Requires 5+ years in technical training, deep SDLC knowledge, and strong communication skills.

About the job

In this role you will:

  • Become a Sentry product expert: be intimately familiar with all product capabilities and how customers use the product
  • Own the Sentry University virtual learning platform: prepare curriculum, build learning units, create content, and manage user experience
  • Create a comprehensive training strategy to enable customers to ramp up quickly and accelerate time-to-value (TTV)
  • Build and operationalize an engaging certification program for customers, partners, and employees
  • Design and own end-user training content for CSMs and SEs
  • Create and deliver instructor-led training curriculum through virtual group training and in-person workshops
  • Partner with sales and marketing to track leads in Sentry University
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to keep enablement materials up-to-date and on-brand
  • Develop programs for onboarding and technical enablement of customer-facing teams (logging, monitoring, cloud, etc.)
  • Develop KPIs to measure adoption and effectiveness of training programs

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in the application monitoring field
  • 5+ years experience in technical training development and delivery
  • BA/BS degree in CS or Computer Engineering-related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Significant experience working with customers and partners remotely and in person
  • Ability to develop structured training plans, actions, and metrics
  • Experience with various learning tools and media
