Staff Software Engineer, Autonomy Applications Engineering
Build and integrate AI and autonomy software for unmanned platforms, helping customers deploy Hivemind across air, sea, and space systems. Responsibilities
- Become an expert user of the Hivemind Enterprise Autonomy Software Development Kit.
- Develop AI and autonomy software capabilities using Hivemind for unmanned platforms across air, sea, and space.
- Enable customers to integrate Hivemind autonomy into their vehicles and platforms.
- Debug software and API integration issues.
- Deploy Hivemind AI infrastructure at customer sites.
- Provide technical training to customers for their autonomy development efforts.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to address customer feedback and improve products.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Travel to and stay at customer sites for deployment, training, and flight testing, with approximately 30% travel.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of industry experience, or 4+ years of experience plus a master's degree.
- Ability to travel and stay deployed at customer sites across India.
- 3+ years of experience in an integration or applications engineering role.
- 2+ years of experience working in a startup environment.
- Strong software engineering background.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++.
- Intermediate proficiency in Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Hindi and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the defense aviation or robotics industry.
- Experience building and running a small enterprise software applications or solutions engineering team.
- Ability to travel to the United States for up to three months at a time for training.
