Engagement Manager

Own end-to-end customer onboarding, adoption, and expansion for Ramp’s early European customer base. The role combines change management, CFO-level value communication, technical understanding of integrations and workflows, and commercial ownership in a build-from-scratch environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customers through the full transformation journey, from implementation through agentic workflow adoption.
  • Own the revenue target for a book of business.
  • Build and own change-management strategies for each account by mapping stakeholders, diagnosing resistance, building internal coalitions, and driving adoption.
  • Quantify and communicate Ramp's impact in terms relevant to CFOs and Controllers.
  • Help customers understand and adopt Ramp's agentic finance capabilities, positioning new workflows as fundamental changes to finance operations.
  • Maintain feedback loops with Design and Engineering so customer signals inform product decisions.
  • Support the GM on strategic initiatives, including competitive landscape analysis, ICP refinement, and new segment exploration.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the UK and Europe.
  • Founder-mode mentality with a track record of owning outcomes and building, selling, or figuring things out independently.
  • Daily AI fluency and comfort using AI as a default tool.
  • Deep product expertise, including products, integrations, and configuration options.
  • Technical acumen with integrations, APIs, and workflow architecture.
  • Commercial instinct and ability to identify expansion opportunities and turn customer success into revenue growth.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • High frustration tolerance and resilience in a fast-changing environment.

Nice to Haves

  • Fluency in additional European languages.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup, consulting, venture capital, investment banking/private equity, or another analytically intensive environment.
  • Exposure to fintech, SaaS, or B2B sales cycles.
  • Entrepreneurial experience, such as founding a company, running a meaningful side project, or building something from zero.
