Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for SMB sales opportunities within the go-to-market team.
- Partner with Account Executives to provide scalable technical support throughout the sales cycle.
- Position and demonstrate 1Password’s EPM, SaaS Manager, and Device Trust products as an integrated solution.
- Connect the product portfolio to the broader Unified Access vision.
- Support fast-paced, high-volume SMB sales cycles with concise technical guidance.
- Recommend tailored solutions aligned with SMB customer needs and use cases.
- Lead technical discovery with IT administrators, security leads, developers, and DevOps stakeholders.
- Lead and manage proof-of-concept engagements to validate technical success criteria and support adoption.
- Respond to security questionnaires, RFPs/RFIs, and vendor registration requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement, Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience to create enablement resources and customer-facing content.
- Apply sales qualification frameworks such as MEDDPICC.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, preferably in B2B SaaS and the SMB segment.
- Fluency in French.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
- Experience with or strong familiarity with security and identity, including credential management, privileged access, or secrets management.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Understanding of developer workflows involving CI/CD pipelines, containers, and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and secrets-security risks.
- Working knowledge of SSO, SCIM provisioning, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Awareness of non-human identity risks involving service accounts, API tokens, and bot credentials.
Nice to Have
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, or similar PAM and secrets platforms.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Familiarity with MDM or endpoint-management tools such as Jamf, Intune, or CrowdStrike.
- Hands-on experience integrating 1Password or a secrets manager with developer workflows, CI/CD tools, or automation platforms such as Zapier, n8n, or Make.
