Solutions Engineer

Supports sales and channel teams by demonstrating the Drata platform, running technical evaluations and proof-of-concept projects, and translating customer requirements into business value. Requires at least two years of Sales or Solutions Engineering experience, SaaS familiarity, cloud-platform knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to support prospective customers evaluating the Drata platform.
  • Support technical proof of concepts and demonstrations, simplifying the buyer’s journey.
  • Align customer pain points and requirements with proposed solutions.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and help win new channel partners.
  • Gather and communicate customer needs to product and engineering teams.
  • Conduct competitive research to inform positioning and strategy.
  • Help build financial business cases for prospective customers.
  • Manage technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses and documentation.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence delivering demonstrations and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sales or Solutions Engineer, preferably in SaaS.
  • Working knowledge of common cloud providers and tools, including AWS, GCP, Azure, Okta, Google Workspace, Entra ID, GitHub, Bitbucket, and GitLab.
  • Experience running trials and proof-of-concept projects and serving as the technical partner throughout customer evaluations.
  • Technical background with experience integrating cloud systems and API workflows.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong presentation and creativity skills.

  • Competitive base salary, variable compensation, benefits, and stock, typically in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
  • On-Target Earnings range: £126,800–£156,700.
