Responsibilities
- Build business cases with sales teams and customers for large deals.
- Articulate concise business value propositions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Translate technical advantages into financial results and business outcomes.
- Present the value of solutions to customer executives.
- Lead value-selling content and processes for top customer accounts.
- Guide sales teams in delivering value measurement and calculation content, methods, and tools.
- Promote value-based selling among new and existing sales representatives.
- Quantify customer value for new product functionality and initiatives.
- Partner with marketing to update and share product-value content.
- Educate account, engineering, and marketing teams on business-value practices and trends.
- Report monthly on Value Consulting impact on sales success metrics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business value, value engineering, or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience in sales or sales engineering at a high-growth technology company.
- Expert business-case development applied to selling technology solutions.
- Strong command of business-case frameworks and financial concepts, including revenue gain, cost savings, risk reduction, cash flow, ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback.
- Experience with Google Workspace applications, including Slides, Sheets, Docs, and Meet.
Compensation and Benefits
- On-target earnings: $160,000–$195,000 USD.
