Key Responsibilities
Trial management and Solutions-based demos for the Legal Segment
- Partner with Account Managers to execute demos/trials for designated cross-sell opportunities within the Legal segment, including newest and most strategic solutions.
- Serve as the solutions specialist during the sales cycle, conducting persona-based solutions-focused demonstrations to ensure effective product adoption during the trial phase.
- Develop customized trial plans, success criteria, and compelling use cases tailored to each client's specific workflow.
- Document and standardize successful trial methodologies to create scalable "playbooks" and sales enablement materials for the wider sales organization.
Product & Market Feedback to Product Owners & Sales Leadership
- Actively gather qualitative and quantitative feedback from clients and prospects during demos/trials regarding product features, usability, performance, and commercial viability.
- Synthesize market intelligence and client feedback into clear, actionable requirements and recommendations for the product owners to inform the product roadmap.
- Weekly feedback and alignment calls with product owners and sales leadership.
Commercial & Technical Expertise
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and the specific client workflows within the segment allocated.
- Collaborate with Product/Marketing to refine messaging, positioning, and sales collateral based on real-world client interactions and successful trial conversions.
- Assist in packaging strategies based on observed client value and adoption wins and hurdles.
Required Qualifications
- Deep credit and market expertise and/or legal expertise required, gained through experience at financial and legal institutions, investment banks, or buy side firms. Minimum 5 years.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a client-facing role within the financial technology, legal technology, or professional services industry (e.g., Solutions Consulting, Product Specialist).
- Proven ability to understand complex financial workflows and articulate how data, news, and analytical tools can solve specific business problems for Law Firms.
- Experience with a new product introduction or significant feature launch.
- Understanding of the sales process, including trial design, qualification, and closing.
- Exceptional presentation, demonstration, and communication skills, with the ability to tailor persona-based solutions against client challenges and needs.
- Highly organized with experience managing multiple projects/trials simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related field.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $170,000 - $200,000, plus an on-target incentive.
