GTM Business Systems Engineer, Quote-to-Cash
Own and evolve Salesforce-based Quote-to-Cash systems, integrations, and workflows spanning quoting, contracts, provisioning, billing, renewals, and amendments. The role requires deep Salesforce engineering, systems architecture, integration expertise, and strong commercial judgment.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce Platform applications.
- Build and operate reliable integrations among Salesforce CPQ, Ironclad, Billing/Core, and adjacent business systems.
- Own data contracts, idempotency, error handling, reconciliation, and safe lifecycle changes for quotes, contracts, and subscriptions.
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions on iPaaS platforms such as Homegrown, Workato, and Clay.
- Drive scalable architecture, tooling, and solution-design decisions.
- Create technical specifications, architecture and data-model diagrams, process flows, and sequence diagrams.
- Own data integrity and assumptions within the assigned domain.
- Participate in code reviews, on-call, build troubleshooting, and technical ideation.
- Translate complex commercial requirements into durable system behavior with non-engineering partners.
Requirements
- 7+ years working with the Salesforce platform.
- 5+ years of systems architecture and integration experience.
- Strong Apex and triggers experience.
- Python or another programming language experience.
- Strong Lightning Web Components development skills.
- Strong Salesforce API and integration experience.
- Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous methods, Streaming API, publish/subscribe patterns, and architectural patterns.
- Familiarity with the broader GTM stack, including Gong, LeanData, CPQ, and billing systems.
- Working knowledge of data pipelines and CI/CD processes.
- Understanding of Salesforce governance limits and code coverage.
- Ability to follow unit-testing best practices and code for positive and negative scenarios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience thoughtfully using AI-assisted development tools and evaluating their output.
- Experience with Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with CPQ, pricing, contract lifecycle management, billing, subscriptions, or another Quote-to-Cash domain.
- Strong API and integration-design skills, including retries, duplicate events, partial failures, and data reconciliation.
