- Tackle ambiguous technical challenges and turn loosely defined problems into scalable solutions.
- Build shared systems, patterns, and platform capabilities that help engineering teams deliver faster.
- Partner with engineering and product leadership on the technical roadmap, balancing platform health with customer delivery.
- Evolve AI-assisted development practices, engineering standards, and technical decision-making.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, architectural guidance, and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership across teams and platforms.
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems, APIs, data models, and cloud-native architectures.
- Full-stack expertise across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Active use of AI-assisted development tools and thoughtful integration into engineering workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical alignment through design documents and architecture discussions.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and influence without direct authority.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in mission-critical or high-compliance domains, including FedRAMP, SOC 2, or DoD environments.
- Experience with authentication and identity infrastructure at scale.
- Experience in high-growth B2B SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and asynchronous system design trade-offs.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $205,000–$230,000.
