Legal Partnerships Lead
Own and grow strategic partnerships with leading law firms that advise clean energy transactions. The role combines legal fluency, professional-services relationship building, co-marketing, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration, with approximately 6–8 years of experience expected.

Responsibilities
- Build and deepen strategic relationships with leading AmLaw and Chambers-ranked law firms.
- Own partner relationships end-to-end, including meetings, relationship development, partner records, relationship health, and program insights.
- Navigate law firm business development, marketing, innovation, conflicts, and confidentiality considerations.
- Cultivate champions across practice groups and offices.
- Design and run co-marketing and joint engagement programs, including content, thought leadership, briefings, events, client dinners, and conference activations.
- Collaborate with Market Intelligence and Legal teams to deliver legal and market intelligence, CLE-eligible briefings, deal-term standards, and tailored reports.
- Help firms engage with Crux’s platform and collaborate on industry-standard documentation through working groups.
- Focus partnerships on advancing Crux’s capital markets business and clients’ access to capital.
- Refine partnership playbooks and operating processes alongside Revenue Operations.
- Attend partner briefings, conferences, client events, and roadshows; approximately 25% travel.
Requirements
- Genuine legal fluency and the ability to engage credibly with law firm partners and in-house counsel.
- Practical understanding of how transactional attorneys structure deals and advise clients.
- Understanding of law firm business development, marketing, innovation, client, practice, conflict, and confidentiality dynamics.
- Proven ability to build impactful relationships with enterprise or top-tier partners.
- Commercial judgment and demonstrated business impact through partnerships.
- Builder’s mindset, bias to action, and ability to independently own meaningful workstreams or relationships.
- Approximately 6–8 years of experience.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence without direct authority.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn clean energy finance, transferable tax credits, tax equity, and debt.
