Senior Operations Manager, Air

Own customer implementation and go-live operations for Athelas Air (EHR), translating clinical workflows into technical requirements and scalable launch processes. The role partners across Product, Engineering, and customer-facing teams and requires 5+ years of SaaS or HealthTech operations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end implementation, onboarding, and launch of new customers on Athelas Air (EHR).
  • Map customers’ clinical and administrative workflows and translate needs into product requirements.
  • Draft functional and technical specifications, including user stories, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and interface requirements.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility, clarify requirements, and prioritize development work.
  • Create implementation plans, timelines, and resource allocations for each customer launch.
  • Lead cross-functional launch teams, status calls, playbook adherence, and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate deliverables, dependencies, and handoffs across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Support.
  • Build and improve standardized launch playbooks and templates for data migration, configuration, training, and go-live support.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to reduce time to launch and improve launch quality.
  • Build and maintain internal Retool applications, dashboards, reports, and operational tools.
  • Facilitate hypercare support after go-live and track issue-resolution SLAs.
  • Monitor and report adoption metrics such as login rates, documentation volume, and billing task completion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of implementation, product operations, or operations experience in SaaS or HealthTech.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs to successful delivery on time and within scope.
  • BS/MS in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or the hard sciences, or equivalent technical training and experience.
  • Ability to work onsite five days per week in the Mountain View office.

Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $120,000–$160,000.
