Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance Go runtimes, CLI engines, and declarative state managers.
- Design and optimize Go algorithms for state diffing, validation, and real-time drift detection across large-scale, multi-tenant API topologies.
- Architect and maintain high-performance Go SDKs and core libraries for internal microservices and external clients interacting with the Konnect SaaS platform.
- Define clean, extensible REST API contracts across platform runtimes.
- Architect spec-driven tooling using OpenAPI and AsyncAPI to generate SDKs, client libraries, and infrastructure-as-code definitions.
- Build modern CLI experiences for developer workflows and high-concurrency CI/CD automation.
- Build and extend reliable Terraform Providers.
- Bring new runtime capabilities into the declarative management ecosystem as native API primitives.
- Collaborate across global backend and platform teams and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience designing and delivering production-grade backend systems and developer tools using Golang.
- Proven experience designing developer-friendly API schemas using REST, gRPC, and OpenAPI.
- Strong understanding of API backwards compatibility, versioning, and developer experience.
- Production experience with Terraform provider development, Kubernetes operators, or stateful CI/CD automation pipelines.
- Strong commitment to clean code, automated testing, benchmarking, and robust software architecture.
- Ability to communicate complex technical decisions and provide technical leadership.
