Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, high-performance features and core services for a global customer base.
- Solve large-scale engineering challenges, improving reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Own features end to end, from design and development through deployment and operational support.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and business leaders in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Champion best practices in code quality, scalability, documentation, monitoring, and testing.
- Stay current with technologies and industry trends, applying a growth mindset to complex problems.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience building and scaling complex systems; exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered.
- Experience developing and maintaining consumer-facing or core business products at scale.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with a strong understanding of JVM performance and optimization.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, API design, and AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Ownership of production-quality, maintainable code, including post-release monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Strong collaboration skills in global, cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to testing, documentation, scalability, and code quality.
- Experience leveraging AI models and AI-driven development to build intelligent, automated features and improve engineering productivity.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
