What You’ll Do
- Build and develop a high-performing team: Hire exceptional engineers and support their long-term growth through mentorship, coaching, and leadership development.
- Raise the bar on engineering excellence: Uphold strong technical standards through processes like architecture reviews, testing, and code quality practices.
- Drive platform strategy: Partner with engineering and product leadership to shape and execute long-term platform roadmaps, including the next-generation Synchronizer API.
- Lead cross-team execution: Coordinate closely across multiple engineering groups to deliver complex, cross-cutting, high-impact initiatives.
- Foster a strong engineering culture: Promote ownership, innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement as core expectations for the team
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including managing managers
- A proven track record of coaching, developing, and supporting both engineers and managers
- Deep experience delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems
- Strong judgment in balancing engineering velocity with long-term technical quality
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to define and drive technical and organizational roadmaps with measurable impact
- A builder mindset with a history of scaling teams and systems in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong ownership and initiative, especially in ambiguous and evolving contexts
- The ability to act as a change agent, helping guide our transformation into an API-first organization
- A bias for action and data-driven decision making

- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Compensation
Base salary: $200,000—$268,000 USD
