Compensation Strategy & Program Lead

Leads enterprise compensation program portfolios, designing scalable governance, automation, and self-service tooling while advising leadership on market positioning, pay equity, and organizational design. Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver strategic and operational compensation program portfolios, such as focal cycles, equity architecture, salary structures, geographic pay, promotions, and specialized incentive frameworks.
  • Collaborate with peer Program Leads to maintain a cohesive global compensation philosophy and unified program delivery.
  • Partner with Compensation Operations and Data/Tooling teams to translate compensation rules into automated workflows, AI-assisted self-service resources, and centralized reporting.
  • Establish transparent policy-as-code guardrails and delegation-of-authority frameworks that enable managers and People partners to make pay decisions autonomously.
  • Advise senior leadership on talent-market positioning, pay equity, and organizational design, emphasizing systemic improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing, iterating, and scaling enterprise compensation programs end-to-end.
  • Strong frontline compensation consulting experience.
  • Ability to independently drive program portfolios while collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Systems- and AI-first approach to policy redesign, automation, and self-service tooling.
  • High proficiency in quantitative modeling and evaluating macro compensation metrics.
  • Comfort partnering with data and operations teams.
  • Substantial compensation experience.
  • Fluency with modern compensation planning, HRIS, and data/analytics tools.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary range of $135,800–$245,400 USD, depending on geographic pay zone, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
