Senior People Partner

Owns HRBP partnerships, employee relations, performance and talent programs, manager coaching, and people operations while improving HR systems and automating workflows. The role requires 5–8 years of HR experience, including substantial HRBP experience, startup or high-growth exposure, and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Own the HRBP relationship for assigned business groups, including performance management, employee relations, talent development, organizational design, and team health.
  • Coach managers proactively and independently manage performance conversations, sensitive employee-relations cases, and conflict resolution.
  • Own and evolve performance cycles, Pulse surveys, talent assessments, and related people programs; provide leadership with business-oriented insights and recommendations.
  • Facilitate manager enablement workshops, internal learning sessions, and program rollouts.
  • Own internal communications for people topics.
  • Identify and implement AI automation across People workflows, documentation, reporting, and reactive work.
  • Own and optimize the people technology stack, maintain accurate data, and deliver regular people insights.
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle processes, and compliant records.
  • Improve processes and cross-functional coordination while reducing manual overhead.
  • Liaise with PEO-administered benefits and compliance vendors, answer employee questions, and escalate material regulatory changes.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of HR experience, including 3–5 years in an HR business partner or business partner role.
  • People operations experience with the ability to remain hands-on.
  • Experience independently owning performance management, employee relations, and manager coaching.
  • Experience supporting GTM, engineering, or mixed business groups, ideally at a startup or high-growth company.
  • Strong attention to detail, business acumen, facilitation skills, and systems-thinking ability.
  • Experience improving or implementing HR tools and using AI tools in workflows.
  • Familiarity with Culture Amp, HiBob, Deel, or Sequoia One is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $134,000–$181,000, plus equity and benefits.
