Responsibilities
- Own and lead the development, drafting, and maintenance of strategic advertising policies across Reddit’s advertising products for U.S. and international markets.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams as a senior policy consultant to identify policy considerations, risks, and guardrails during early product development.
- Draft risk assessments and strategic policy recommendations for senior cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
- Represent the Ads Policy perspective clearly and confidently.
- Provide guidance as a senior peer leader and role model company values.
- Make definitive, risk-balanced decisions on complex, gray-area advertising policy escalations and high-impact issues.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in compliance, standards, or policy development and implementation.
- Significant experience in technology, digital platforms, advertising, Trust and Safety, or a related policy function.
- Proven ownership of complex policy projects, including researching, drafting, implementing, and maintaining policies autonomously.
- Deep expertise in advertising or content policy at an international scale.
- Experience working with global teams and advising stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex policy and regulatory matters into clear business terms.
- Ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous problems into structured decision documents outlining risks, trade-offs, and proposed solutions.

- Direct experience developing advertising policies within a major technology platform.
- Familiarity with AI tools for streamlining workflows, providing tailored assistance, and scaling processes.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $167,500–$272,400 USD.
- Eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units; some positions may also be eligible for commission.
