Intern Deployment Engineer - Data & AI

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer-facing sessions with Deployment Engineers to discuss projects, translate objectives into use cases, and learn best practices.
• Gather and organize data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Help direct AI deployment agents to build data models, process analyses, KPIs, and dashboards by writing clear specifications.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis using Celonis and related tools to identify trends, inefficiencies, and root causes.
• Assist with solution design blueprints and configuring operational solutions on the platform.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and business relevance.
• Help develop and maintain KPIs to measure project success and business impact.
• Document solution designs and configurations for customer handover.

Requirements

• Current student in Technology Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a comparable degree program, with strong academic performance.
• Knowledge of business intelligence, data analytics, and enterprise business processes.
• Programming and database experience, including SQL, Python, or related languages.
• Basic familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and interest in prompt/context engineering.
• Interest in customer-facing work and strong presentation and communication skills.
• Initiative, independence, adaptability, and creative problem-solving ability.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• At least five months of full-time availability.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI deployment agents and AI-augmented software delivery.
• Experience with Celonis or process mining.
