Leads end-to-end government and commercial proposal development for Shield AI’s Asia/Middle East go-to-market team, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring compliant, timely submissions. Responsibilities
- Manage competing priorities across proposals and related business development deliverables, including white papers, requests for information (RFIs), and rough-order-of-magnitude (ROM) pricing estimates.
- Lead end-to-end proposal execution from pre-RFP planning through submission and closeout.
- Lead Asia/Middle East proposal efforts and align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive proposal teams to deliver compliant, high-quality submissions on schedule.
- Manage proposal kickoffs, collaboration, color reviews, and management reviews with senior leaders and executives.
- Improve proposal processes, tools, templates, and best practices.
- Mentor proposal contributors and foster collaborative teams.
- Develop briefings and presentations for customer engagements.
- Support customer meetings, demonstrations, and go-to-market events.
- Provide additional support to business development operations and go-to-market leadership as needed.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of U.S. federal or international government proposal development or business development operations experience; alternatively, 3+ years working with U.S. federal or international government requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience with proposal methodologies such as Shipley, compliance matrices, and project management tools and processes.
- Proven professional leadership experience.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical ideas.
- Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, collaboration, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all organizational levels.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing Foreign Military Sale and Direct Commercial Sale bids and proposals.
- Technical background in unmanned or uncrewed systems and/or autonomy software.
- Knowledge of military operations and Asia/Middle East defense acquisition processes.
- Understanding of international markets and geopolitical trends in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Active U.S. security clearance.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $74,560–$111,840.
