Solutions Architect - Manufacturing
Leads technical strategy, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and enterprise adoption of Databricks data and AI solutions. The role requires pre-sales leadership, experience with large global accounts, data technologies, production programming, and executive stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical voice for multiple enterprise clients in partnership with Enterprise Account Executives.
- Define, direct, and implement technical strategies that drive Databricks evaluation, adoption, and broader ML and AI usage.
- Lead customers through data-driven business transformation and help them align Databricks solutions with business value.
- Build proofs of concept, conduct product demonstrations, and participate in live coding sessions with stakeholders.
- Establish and lead virtual account teams and build networks of technical champions within customer organizations.
- Develop relationships with executives and key influencers, presenting compelling technical points of view.
- Provide structured mentorship to other team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pre-sales, value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership.
- Experience working with very large, global accounts, including accounts exceeding $1 million in ARR.
- Experience establishing virtual teams and leading them to successful outcomes.
- Experience building relationships with executives and customer influencers.
- Technical experience in data engineering, cloud data warehousing, and/or data science.
- Experience driving data-driven business transformation and organizational change.
- Production programming expertise in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with live or vibe coding sessions involving stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Databricks certifications.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $180,000–$247,500 USD.
- Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
