Deployed Engineer
Build and deploy production AI agents and integrations directly with customers, translating ambiguous workflows into reliable technical systems. The role requires strong software engineering, API and data-system fluency, customer collaboration, and willingness to work in person and travel.

Responsibilities
- Own the technical customer lifecycle from deployment through production adoption and expansion.
- Work directly with customers to identify high-leverage workflows.
- Design and deploy AI agents combining reasoning, web research, external data, and internal systems.
- Build integrations with CRMs, document stores, data warehouses, and internal APIs.
- Debug agent behavior, data quality issues, integrations, and real-world deployment problems.
- Build relationships with users and technical stakeholders.
- Turn customer patterns into product improvements and help shape the roadmap.
- Drive adoption from an initial workflow to broader organizational use.
Requirements
- Strong engineering foundation from a rigorous technical environment.
- Demonstrated exceptional performance in academic, professional, athletic, or entrepreneurial pursuits.
- Experience writing and debugging production software.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Ability to understand unfamiliar APIs, data models, and technical systems quickly.
- High tolerance for ambiguity, intensity, and sustained effort.
- Willingness to travel.
Nice-to-haves
- Interest in LLMs, agents, data infrastructure, and production reliability.
- Enjoyment of moving between coding, debugging data, customer conversations, and product thinking.
- Ability to turn ambiguous business problems into working technical systems.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range: $180,000–$280,000.
- In-person work in the San Francisco office five days per week.
