Sales Operations Analyst IV

Serve as operational partner to VP of Commercial Expansion, providing data-driven insights, forecasting, and systems support to optimize mid-market customer retention, expansion, and revenue growth in a SaaS environment. Requires 4+ years revenue/sales operations experience with post-sales focus, strong analytics, and SaaS metrics fluency.

About the job

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the business and operational partner to the VP of Commercial Expansion, translating business goals into operating plans and adjusting to hit revenue and retention targets.
  • Proactively identify business challenges and opportunities through data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and process reviews; devise and execute practical, creative solutions and measure impact.
  • Lead operational cadences like pipeline inspection and forecast calls to ensure accountability, identify trends, and close gaps in the GTM motion.
  • Ensure key post-sales systems and tools (forecasting and customer success platforms) meet organizational needs by providing design requirements to central systems teams.
  • Identify opportunities to utilize AI (LLMs, customized tools, account enrichment/signals, product telemetry) to drive revenue and reduce churn.
  • Communicate and partner collaboratively with all levels of the organization to drive revenue operations initiatives.
  • Prioritize multiple high-visibility initiatives across stakeholders to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Analytics, GTM Enablement, Product, and Finance leaders to ensure the Commercial Expansion business has necessary resources.
  • Act as a key escalation point for operational blockers including territory disputes, crediting questions, deal coordination, and process gaps.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or GTM operations, including at least 2 years supporting a post-sales, renewal, or expansion motion.
  • Direct experience supporting a commercial or mid-market sales organization at a SaaS company, ideally in a consumption-based business model.
  • Fluency in SaaS expansion and retention metrics (NRR, GDR, expansion ARR, churn ARR, logo churn, contraction, cohort analysis). Experience using product usage data to inform churn risk and expansion prioritization is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking with ownership/initiative; track record of data-driven decisions and leading multiple concurrent cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills; ability to structure ambiguous problems and balance creativity with practicality.
  • Trusted advisor to stakeholders: active listening, understanding priorities, thoughtful communication; comfortable partnering with senior leaders across Marketing, Sales, and Finance.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce, Gainsight or equivalent customer success platforms, Looker, Tableau or other BI platforms (Omni, etc.). SQL experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and technical fluency including advanced Excel, BI tooling, and SQL to independently pull, validate, and explain GTM data; turn raw data into clear recommendations.

  • Salesforce, Gong, Looker, Google Suite, Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini
