Responsibilities
- Lead technical onboarding of new institutions to the ModernFi platform — from account setup to configuration, testing, and go-live
- Manage infrastructure setup for clients, including provisioning SFTP servers and keypairs with Pulumi
- Collaborate with bank IT teams to configure SSO in Auth0 based on their identity providers
- Coordinate onboarding for third-party digital banking integrations like Q2, serving as the glue between ModernFi, the client, and the partner
- Own and improve our public API documentation — making it easier for clients to integrate and showcasing our engineering-first approach
- Build tooling, dashboards, or internal features (using Python, Retool, etc.) that make your work more efficient and scalable
- Optimize our self-service onboarding tool by partnering with our CS team to intake client feedback and provide product suggestions or own immediate fixes
- Translate between technical and non-technical audiences with empathy and clarity
Requirements
- Engineering background, with a CS degree or equivalent experience
- Comfortable working with code and infrastructure — you may not write production services day to day, but you can spin up an SFTP server, tweak a Python script, or make a SQL query
- Excellent communicator who can guide clients through technical setup and translate their needs to the engineering team
- Excited by the idea of improving the customer experience through a mix of software, process, and grit
- Collaborative and fun to work with — you bring positive energy to the team
