Regulatory Chief of Staff

Own regulatory operations for a federally designated prediction market, including rulemaking tracking, filings, governance, and translating commitments into operational systems. The role partners directly with senior regulatory leadership and engages government agencies, Congress, and state governments.

Responsibilities

  • Track open rulemakings, comment deadlines, and filings.
  • Turn rulebook commitments into written procedures, metrics, and review cycles.
  • Build systems, trackers, templates, calendars, and briefing documents to improve team productivity.
  • Engage directly with Congress, state governments, and federal agencies, including the CFTC and Treasury.
  • Serve as connective tissue for the regulatory function and own workstreams end to end.
  • Support board and committee governance and shepherd regulatory filings.
  • Help translate written commitments into operational company practices.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with excellent executive functioning.
  • Creative, collaborative, and motivated by challenging regulatory problems.
  • Able to develop and advocate for ideas while working effectively with others.
  • Comfortable disagreeing constructively and operating in a fast-moving environment.
  • Willing to work occasional nights and weekends in a live-sports business.
