Responsibilities

Strategy and plan design

  • Define Harvey’s global benefits and leave philosophy, including how to balance global consistency with local relevance.
  • Lead benefits plan design and redesign across the United States and international markets.
  • Build roadmaps and business cases for benefits, wellness, and leave programs using benchmarking and market analysis.

Team and service delivery

  • Grow and develop the global benefits team across the United States and EMEA.
  • Set service-delivery standards for employee questions, escalations, response times, and follow-through.
  • Use AI and automation to improve benefits support while maintaining a strong employee experience.
  • Create clear, localized benefits communications and partner with Recruiting on benefits-related candidate conversations.

Programs, vendors, and spend

  • Oversee renewals, open enrollment, plan changes, carrier transitions, and new-country benefit launches.
  • Lead the global leave of absence program.
  • Manage brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators, including RFPs, negotiations, contracting, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and partner with Legal, Security, and Finance on vendor onboarding, data privacy, and risk review.
  • Manage the benefits budget and use utilization, cost, and employee sentiment data to guide decisions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in benefits.
  • 3+ years leading and developing a team.
  • Deep United States benefits expertise across health and welfare plan design, 401(k), leave, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and applicable state regulations.
  • Experience designing or administering benefits in EMEA and/or APAC.
  • Ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on execution, including managing Workday eligibility rules.
  • Experience managing vendors and brokers, running RFPs, negotiating renewals, and managing partner performance.
  • Financial fluency, including benefits budgeting and cost-scenario modeling.
  • Exceptional communication and ability to explain complex benefits topics clearly.
  • Builder mentality and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-growing environments.
  • Experience using AI tools to streamline benefits work.

Compensation

  • $227,100–$340,700 USD annually.
