About the job

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the Workplace team, setting vision and scalable processes for global office operations.
  • Drive Decagon’s real estate strategy by negotiating leases, managing brokers and vendors, and overseeing build-outs and office openings across San Francisco, New York, and Europe.
  • Manage workplace budgets and optimize spending across real estate, operations, and vendors.
  • Ensure operational excellence in offices, maintaining high standards for safety, compliance, and employee experience.
  • Partner with People, Finance, IT, and leadership to plan for growth and deliver spaces that enable collaboration and high performance.
  • Build programs and policies that create a consistent, high-quality workplace experience across all locations.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of experience in workplace, real estate, or operations, ideally in high-growth startups or technology companies.
  • Proven track record leading multi-site expansions and office build-outs.
  • Experience with vendor management, project execution, and global workplace operations.
  • Strong people leadership and the ability to build, inspire, and scale a team.
  • Ability to move fluidly between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Experience working across geographies in the United States and Europe.

Compensation

  • $220K–$280K plus equity.
