Responsibilities
- Lead structured industry discovery with property and casualty insurance carriers.
- Recommend product investment priorities using industry insight, ROI frameworks, and validated demand.
- Develop frameworks for evaluating industry opportunities, customer problems, and ecosystem partnerships.
- Serve as the external authority for Customer Service or Sales & Distribution, influencing analysts, industry bodies, and strategic partners through publications and conferences.
- Translate market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into product and ecosystem strategy.
- Lead packaging and pricing for new products.
- Build cross-functional understanding of insurance challenges and Hi Marley’s service solutions across Product, Marketing, and Sales.
- Identify automation and proactive-communication opportunities, including AI-driven outreach, self-service, and event-triggered updates.
- Define strategies to reduce friction in communication among policyholders, carriers, and agents.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in P&C insurance strategy, product strategy, or industry advisory roles.
- Deep expertise in P&C insurance Customer Service or Sales & Distribution operations, strategy, and performance metrics.
- Experience influencing product direction and enterprise-level investment decisions.
- Strong customer-facing communication, relationship-building, and executive storytelling skills.
- Analytical rigor with experience using data, ROI frameworks, and structured reasoning.
- Strong pattern recognition and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with AI-driven applications or digital transformation in insurance.
- Experience scaling automation and proactive-communication strategies.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary: $142,000–$263,000 USD.
