Principal Product Manager, Capital Platform

Own strategy and execution for a high-impact capital platform domain, building scalable systems for lenders and investors. The role requires 7+ years of product management experience, Staff/Principal-level scope, technical fluency, and experience with complex regulated workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a major Capital Platform problem space.
  • Lead multi-quarter, cross-team initiatives involving product, engineering, finance, and compliance.
  • Design scalable, configurable platform capabilities for diverse capital partners without fragmentation or bespoke delivery.
  • Partner with engineering on product architecture, tradeoffs, sequencing, and long-term platform evolution.
  • Influence adjacent platform and vertical teams to address capital partner needs across products.
  • Use data, customer insight, and domain knowledge to prioritize and make product decisions.
  • Deliver durable, enterprise-grade solutions meeting reliability, compliance, and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated scope and impact.
  • Principal/Staff-level individual contributor experience leading complex initiatives.
  • Track record designing and shipping platforms or shared systems.
  • Experience with complex B2B or B2B2C workflows such as onboarding, configuration, payments, compliance, or reporting.
  • Experience operating in regulated, high-reliability environments.
  • Strong technical fluency and experience partnering with engineering on architecture and system-design tradeoffs.
  • Ability to align and drive execution across multiple teams without formal authority.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical, analytical, or business-related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building enterprise-grade platforms or infrastructure products, especially in financial services, fintech, or regulated domains.
  • Zero-to-one product development experience.
  • Familiarity with capital markets, lending, or financial operations workflows.
  • Experience with data platforms, reporting systems, or analytics products.
  • Experience at high-growth or scaling technology companies.
  • Collaboration with machine learning, data science, or advanced analytics teams.

Compensation

  • United States anticipated base salary: $187,900–$260,000 USD.
  • Canada anticipated base salary: $182,800–$230,000 CAD.
  • Additional compensation may include target bonuses, equity, and benefits.
  • Remote work is available, with East/West Coast time-zone requirements and periodic team travel for onsites.
