Field Marketing Manager, Sponsorship & Experiential

Leads UK field marketing and Crystal Palace sponsorship activations, partnering closely with Sales to create account engagement, developer-community presence, and measurable pipeline influence. The role requires strong technical-audience marketing, experiential and sponsorship execution, cross-functional leadership, and operational rigor.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated field marketing plans for the Crystal Palace sponsorship in the UK, translating business goals into awareness, demand creation, and account-engagement campaigns.
  • Partner with Sales leadership and account teams on planning, prioritization, follow-up, measurement, and pipeline-generating field programs.
  • Design account-driven hospitality, event, matchday, executive-hosting, and post-match follow-up experiences.
  • Build a season-long sponsorship activation strategy focused on account engagement, executive relationships, and pipeline influence.
  • Develop programs for developers, technical audiences, and communities in London and across the UK in partnership with Developer Relations and local community leaders.
  • Manage the Crystal Palace partnership, including operating cadences, rights inventory, approvals, timelines, deliverables, and contractual expectations.
  • Coordinate content, PR, paid, lifecycle/email, social, SDR/BDR follow-up, and partner-channel integration.
  • Manage experiential, production, creative, and event vendors or agencies with budget discipline and operational rigor.
  • Define success metrics, produce performance recaps, and recommend improvements throughout the season.

Requirements

  • Strong field marketing and campaign leadership experience, ideally at a technical or technology company.
  • Track record of delivering integrated programs supporting revenue goals.
  • Experience partnering with and influencing Sales, aligning priorities, planning jointly, and creating follow-up motions that convert engagement into pipeline.
  • Experience using events, hospitality, and experiential marketing for account engagement and priority-audience attraction.
  • Experience marketing to technical and developer audiences, preferably for developer platforms, infrastructure, or tools.
  • Sponsorship and experiential marketing experience; sports sponsorship experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage complex partnerships, rights packages, and high-visibility activations.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder-alignment skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, outcomes-focused, collaborative, and comfortable influencing without authority.
  • Strong production instincts and comfort with imperfect attribution, rapid learning, and iteration.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing a major sports sponsorship within a large technology company.
  • Developer Relations exposure or connections in the London or UK developer community.
  • Premier League sponsorship experience.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Estimated pay range: £90,000–£110,000, depending on experience and location.
  • Eligible to participate in the company equity plan.
  • International benefits vary by country and may include paid time off, learning and career development, lifestyle spending, home-office setup, professional memberships, work-from-home meals, and access to the Calm app.
  • Occasional travel may be required for company events, team offsites, and other in-person connection opportunities.
