Community Event & Engagement Manager

Build and scale Oneleet’s B2B community and event programs, including executive engagements, customer events, conferences, and digital programming. The role requires strong event production, cross-functional partnership with Sales and Customer Success, relationship-building, and the ability to connect programs to pipeline and retention.

Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Execution

  • Own the events calendar, including executive dinners, customer roundtables, hosted meetups, webinars, and major industry conferences.
  • Design thoughtful, high-quality, on-brand event experiences.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor management, invitations, run-of-show, on-site execution, and post-event follow-through.
  • Build repeatable playbooks for flagship event formats.

Community Strategy & Program Building

  • Build the community event strategy from the ground up, defining the audience, value proposition, platforms, and programming.
  • Partner with the Content & Community Lead on AMAs, compliance Q&A sessions, peer networking, and product feedback programs.
  • Build a customer champion and ambassador program.

Executive & Customer Engagement

  • Design and run CISO roundtables, CTO advisory dinners, and customer advisory boards.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to identify attendees and create personal, intentional invitations.
  • Create peer-led forums for security and compliance leaders.

Conference & Industry Presence

  • Own the strategy and presence at key industry events and conferences.
  • Coordinate booth experiences, sponsored sessions, side events, and executive meetings.
  • Evaluate conference and sponsorship opportunities.

Measurement & Growth

  • Define and track pipeline influence, retention impact, community growth, engagement, and event NPS.
  • Report on program performance and make data-informed investment decisions.
  • Gather feedback to improve community and event experiences.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in event marketing, community management, field marketing, or developer/customer relations at a B2B SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven experience building and managing a B2B community or event program.
  • Exceptional event production and logistics skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Creative program design skills.
  • Understanding of how community and events connect to pipeline, retention, and brand.
  • Experience partnering with Sales and Customer Success on revenue goals.
  • Ability to manage budgets, vendor contracts, and agency relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, GRC, or another technical B2B category.
  • Experience building a community platform from scratch using Slack, Discord, Circle, or similar tools.
  • Relationships with event venues, production vendors, or conference organizers.
  • Experience running executive-level programs such as advisory boards, roundtables, or C-suite dinners.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot for event tracking and follow-up workflows.
  • Experience managing a small team or external contractors.
  • Comfort with video production and webinar platforms for virtual and hybrid events.
