Events Manager

Plans and executes conferences, webinars, and customer events that increase brand awareness and engagement. The role requires 5+ years of events experience, strong cross-functional collaboration, budget and timeline management, and excellent stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute event plans aligned with business objectives to drive attendance and engagement.
  • Organise conferences, webinars, and strategic breakfasts, dinners, and lunches with key customers or potential clients.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and end-to-end event planning.
  • Create compelling event messaging and content for target audiences.
  • Manage event budgets and timelines, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Analyze event performance metrics and recommend future improvements and optimizations.
  • Follow up with event participants in collaboration with sales and growth teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into event marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of events experience, including at least 3 years specifically planning events or marketing events in a fast-paced technology organization.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product development, and communications teams.
  • Budget and time management skills, including the ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Agility and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Confidence communicating ideas and points of view thoughtfully and passionately.
  • Transparency and willingness to challenge, ask questions, and identify obstacles.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Fluency in English.
  • French, German, or Spanish proficiency is preferred.
