Field Marketing Manager
Own end-to-end field marketing events and activations across New York City, London, the East Coast, and Europe, connecting execution to pipeline, account expansion, and community outcomes. The role requires strong hosting, vendor coordination, project management, scrappiness, and generalist marketing skills.

Responsibilities
- Execute Protege-led and co-sponsored events from planning through execution and attribution across the East Coast and Europe.
- Host events on-site as event manager and Protege representative, resolving venue and operational issues in real time.
- Source, manage, and coordinate third-party event vendors and staff, including catering, AV, greeters, photography/videography, floral, and venue teams.
- Partner with commercial and DataLab research teams to align event design, programming, and customization with business goals.
- Own internal planning, logistics, and travel for assigned events; improve marketing playbooks.
- Connect events and activations to pipeline generation, account expansion, commercial targets, and partnership opportunities.
- Create social media content to promote, document, and publicize events.
- Test event activations and formats, plan researcher-community engagements, commercial events, flagship events, and conferences.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects and use AI tools to improve operational execution.
- Travel approximately 2–3 times per month, with regular presence in New York City and London.
Requirements
- Experience personally owning B2B conferences, corporate dinners, or hosted activations from logistics through post-event recap.
- Track record of connecting events to commercial outcomes, including pipeline generation and account opportunities.
- Strong hospitality, hosting, organizational, project-management, and detail-orientation skills.
- Resourcefulness and resilience in managing tight budgets and last-minute operational problems.
- Generalist marketing ability, including social media writing, one-pager updates, and campaign support.
- Experience in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with changing priorities.
- Comfort building systems from scratch and working effectively amid ambiguity.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience supporting large-scale flagship events and conferences.
- Experience with researcher-community events or AI/data-focused audiences.
- Familiarity with AI tools for productivity and operational leverage.
